It has been a nutty week in my neck of the woods! Of course, that’s what makes life interesting, don’t you think?

This first little funny is one from my own house…. In fact, it just missed being in my last post Shit My Dad Says, by one day! Here we go!

Dad came in the house after being outside working. He said, “There’s a walkin’ stick outside on the front door. His name is Christopher.” I guess I looked at him funny, so he added, “Christopher Walken.”

10 Songs On My Playlist Today

Today, I had an appointment that was quite the drive. It was 3 hours, round trip. As much as I love Dad and enjoy his company, humor, and stories of his youth, I really enjoyed being completely alone! My music kept me company and I cranked it up and rocked out! I sang along and wiggled and tapped to the music. This is something I can’t normally do with Dad in the car!

I am always amused by the number of people who look at me like there’s something wrong with me. They see a 56-year-old woman in a car with music blaring, that can be heard through closed windows and they get this odd look on their faces. Older people probably think I’m too old for that nonsense, younger people probably think it’s odd that I’m listening to such modern music, and people my age probably wonder why I’m not listening to country music! Some might just think, “Damn, is she deaf?”

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

Friday sure sneaks up on me. I seem to be behind in everything these days. I have many of your blogs to catch up on because I haven’t had time to read them for about a week. I will get caught up, eventually. My laundry is backed up, the floor needs vacuuming, and the cat beds need washing. I’ll get things done when I’m finished crocheting!

A retiree drove his brand new BMW to 100 mph, looking in his rearview mirror, he saw a police car behind him. He floored it to 140, then 150, … then 155, … Suddenly he thought, “I’m too old for this nonsense!”

So he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him.

The officer walked up to him, looked at his watch and said, “Sir, my shift ends in ten minutes. Today is Friday and I’m taking off for the weekend with my family. If you can give me a good reason that I’ve never heard before, why you were speeding… I’ll let you go.”

The Man looked very seriously at the policeman and replied: “Years ago, my wife ran off with a policeman, I thought you were bringing her back.”

The cop left saying, “Have a good day, Sir!”

bubba with the two assholes

Bubba died in a fire and his body was burned pretty badly. The morgue needed someone to identify the body, so they sent for his two best friends, Darryl and Gary.

The three men had always done everything together!!!!!

Darryl arrived first and when the mortician pulled back the sheet Darryl said, “Yup, his face is burned up pretty bad. You better roll him over.”

The mortician rolled him over, and Darryl said, “Nope, ain’t Bubba.”

The mortician thought this was rather strange. Then he brought Gary in to identify the body.

Gary looked at the body and said, “Yup he’s pretty well burnt up. Roll him over.” The mortician rolled him over and Gary said, “No, it ain’t Bubba.”

The mortician asked, “How can you tell?”

Gary said, “Well, Bubba had two assholes.”

“What? He had two assholes?” asked the mortician.

Yup, I’ve never seen ‘em, but everyone knew he had two assholes. Every time we went to town, folks would say, “Here comes Bubba with them two assholes!”

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

Happy Friday! here’s this week’s installment of Friday’s Funnies! Hope you get a chuckle!

Two hillbillies walk into a restaurant. While having a bite to eat, they talk about their moonshine operation.

Suddenly, a woman at a nearby table, who is eating a sandwich, begins to cough. After a minute or so, it becomes apparent that she is in real distress.

One of the hillbillies looks at her and says, ‘Kin ya swallar? The woman shakes her head no. Then he asks, ‘Kin ya breathe?’ The woman begins to turn blue and shakes her head no.

The hillbilly walks over to the woman, lifts up her dress, yanks down her drawers, and quickly gives her right butt cheek a lick with his tongue. The woman is so shocked that she has a violent spasm, and the obstruction flies out of her mouth.

As she begins to breathe again, the Hillbilly walks slowly back to his table. His partner says, ‘Ya know, I’d heerd of that there ‘Hind Lick Maneuver’ but I never seed nobody done it.
