Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

Happy Friday, everyone! I can’t believe how quickly the weeks pass. We had some 50-degree weather this week, with sunshine, spiders and wasps! I hate the warmer weather specifically for those nasty 8-legged, creepy, scary things! Last night the temperature dropped to around 16 degrees and that made me happy because the spiders went back into their crevices…for the time being anyway. My pain level has been a bit on the extreme side today, from the cold I’m sure. I hope you are all doing great!

This week’s group of funnies is a bit short, I’m afraid. I didn’t see as many things online that tickled me. But that’s ok. I hope you enjoy these anyway!

There you go, friends! I hope you enjoyed this week’s funnies! I think I got the biggest kick out of the Scotsman in the wrong house video! Anywhere else and he would have been shot dead, am I right? Which ones were your faves?

This weekend is supposed to bring great weather for the Superbowl and for fans everywhere! I’m not a football fan but Dad and I have our own little Superbowl party (just the two of us) every year. I try to make game day fun for Dad since he doesn’t socialize with anyone. I make hot wings and other snacks, I drink beer and Dad drinks his wine. I enjoy the commercials when they don’t suck while Dad enjoys the game! Do you have plans for Superbowl Sunday?

Happy Friday! I hope you’re all well and ready for the weekend! This week’s edition of funnies is all about birds. I’ve seen a lot of bird funnies this week so I did a search and found some more. Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

I’ve been slackin’ in my blog duties. I guess I just haven’t had much to say. Nope. That’s not true. I always have something to say. I guess I just don’t want to say it. I’ve just not been “feelin’ it” these days. I’ve forgotten about Friday’s Funnies for 2, maybe 3 weeks in a row. When I think of it it’s not Friday anymore! Then a few days ago I thought I might do a Halloween Edition of funnies but I forgot about that, too!

I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Between my pain level, jumbled thoughts, and writer’s block I don’t know if I’m coming or going. I need to just knock off the horse shit, as my grandmother used to say. I’ll figure it out eventually. I’m also very, VERY behind on reading YOUR blogs and I truly am sorry. I will get caught up eventually!

Earworm – November Rain

One of my favorite bands is Guns n Roses. The old Guns n Roses, that is. Slash is my favorite guitarist and I always wish he would just do one rock ballad instrumental album and I would die happy.

The guitar solo from this song has been playing in my head for days. The song is part of a trilogy (Don’t Cry, November Rain, Estranged) and based on the short story by Del James called “Without You.” The three songs just happen to be 3 of my favorite GnR songs.

November Rain a great song and the video has a few stupid parts but it’s worth watching, in my opinion. You can catch just the guitar solo at around 4:07 in case you want to skip right to it.
