Friday again. I think. I can’t keep track. Every day is like the one before and the one after. I’ve resorted to doing jigsaw puzzles, coloring, word games, painting, and watching my old childhood favorite tv series Dark Shadows. I used to run home from school every day just so I wouldn’t miss an episode! That is, until my mother wouldn’t let me watch it anymore. She said I was having nightmares but wouldn’t I remember having nightmares? I remember ALL the other nightmares I had as a kid.

Anyway, I’m doing a lot of different things these days just to break the monotony of “same shit, different day.” At least prior to COVID19, I had options; I could go shopping, have lunch out with Dad, visit with my son and his little family, have lunch with a friend, or go to appointments. So many people are feeling the stress of staying home and social distancing. I hope this post will break the monotony and provide some levity, improving your mood!

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

This week has been slow and boring, and we have to start all over again in a couple of days. Ugh. The only excitement was on Wednesday, when I sliced my damn finger open! Other than that? Same shit, different day… as they say.

Today marks our 124th day of staying home. I’m officially sick and tired of it. All I can do to keep from going completely nuts is to try to find the humor in everything; like when I dripped blood all over the kitchen floor because I didn’t realize I split my finger open for the 3rd time. The furkids were all sitting there watching me and looking at the bright red drops all over the floor. I wonder what they were thinking?

I’ll be starting something new in August. Each week, your vote for your favorite funny will go up against the previous week’s favorite, and at the end of the month I’ll post the winner. If that makes sense…hahaha. I’m not sure how I’ll work it out quite yet so be patient…and forgiving if it doesn’t work out!

Well, which one was your favorite this week? I like ‘Ostrich’ because we have a board on our catio that has a face on it and it always makes me laugh. I’ll have to share it with you sometime. I also like ‘Auto-correct’ because “it’s never duck.” I despise auto-correct and turned it off on my phone!

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

I’ve been a bit off this week – ok, maybe a LOT off – but I mean well. I haven’t had the motivation to write all week long. I can’t seem to get it together. I’ve had aches and pain this week that I haven’t had before. Things keep going missing – yeah, my brain, too, wise guy – and to top that off, this morning when I got up, I thought it was Thursday. I think Monday had something to do with it, because well, you know ♪♫ Monday, Monday. Can’t trust that day…♫♪ I’ve had to snap out of it, even if just for today, so I could get your funnies out to you! I hope you enjoy these! Well, I tried. Do you have a favorite? My fave is “Long Distance Urinal.” Now that’s funny! I can imagine that bathroom was a bit of a mess by the end of the day! Snort!
