So, which ones made you laugh the most? I favor Don’t Beam Me Up Yet, Scotty as it made me laugh the most and the loudest! I think PsychicNumbers would be my second fave this week. I just wish I had time for more but maybe next time.

I’ve been busting my butt the last couple of weeks working on my cookbook. I will be taking a couple days off because my eyes are tired and my brain is numb! This morning I realized it was Friday and that I hadn’t even known what day of the week it’s been all week! Wait…did that make sense? Stupid brain.

I don’t know how you feel about this Summer weather (if you’re experiencing Summer right now, that is) but I am fed up with the heat and humidity! I am ready for Winter! No, not Fall. It’s still too dang hot for me in the Fall. I want Winter. I want to snuggle up in my electric blanket and binge-watch Netflix and Hulu shows and movies. I know what you’re thinking. I’ll probably moan and bitch about being cold come Winter. You’re probably right. The thing is, at least in the Winter you can wear more clothing and coats, and cover with as many blankets as you need to stay warm BUT in the Summer, to stay cool you can only take off so many clothes before they call the cops. Snort!

Friday again. The days go by so fast…but not fast enough considering this sweltering heat! I cannot wait until wintertime. How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? I hope you’re cooler than I am.
This past week I have been back to work on my cookbook. I just can’t seem to stay with it for long enough to get the recipes typed out! I always lose my motivation after a few months. I should have had it done by now. Little by little, it will get done!! Do you have a project that has taken forever to finish?

The last couple of weeks have been miserable. I lost a furbaby (RIP Honey Bear) and another furbaby (BobCat) caught a URI. I think we brought it back from the vet’s office. It seems like shit has to happen all at once these days. BobCat is feeling better now that he has seen Dr. Missy, who gave him a long-acting antibiotic injection as well as an injection of steroids to reduce the inflammation in his nose. Poor little guy was blowing snot bubbles and sneezing all over the place! Dr. Missy put some ointment in his eyes to lubricate them. He was pretty drippy and yucky. Most of his symptoms have subsided, thankfully. I can’t wait for him to get back to his silly, playful self!
Last Friday, I intended on posting Friday’s Funnies but we had just lost Honey Bear 2 days prior and my heart was broken. I just couldn’t bear to see anything funny as I was not in a laughing mood. I’m sure you’ve all been there. Some people say, “Oh, it was just a cat,” or “It was just a dog.” Nope. Pets are part of the family. I lost a member of my family.
Anyway, onward and upward. Here’s this week’s funnies, theme “Signs” and I just can’t believe some of the signs I have collected! Hilarious! I hope you enjoy the collection!

Well, there you have it. My faves are Danger Ahead andDuck, and the Go Away Go On Git sign reminded me of my mom. When we were kids she would do crafts as Christmas gifts and to keep us out of her craft area she’d hang a sign on the door that said Keep Out This Means You! It always made me laugh.
I hope you enjoyed this collection! Have a super weekend and remember, if the ground is too hot for you to walk barefoot on then it’s too hot for your furbabies! And please don’t leave children, the elderly, or pets in a hot, parked car! It could be deadly.
This week started out decent but then Tuesday one of my furbabies was sickly. It just happened. One day she was eating like a pig and the next day, she wasn’t eating much at all. She had lost some weight, and wasn’t eating, drinking, or urinating much. My first thought was her kidneys. I have already lost several cats to kidney disease and I wasn’t prepared to have to put down another of my loves. I knew I would have to do it because I wouldn’t ever want any of them to suffer…
Our wonderful vet had no appointments open this morning but agreed that if I get there at 9am sharp then they could squeeze us in between the others. A complete blood count was done, and after what seemed an eternity, he came back with the results. Her kidneys were fine. Her liver was fine. Her white blood count was high, which he said normally means an infection…frequently it’s a UTI. So he gave her IV fluids and a long-lasting antibiotic injection, plus a steroid injection. We are home now and she already looks better and has eaten some of her favorite “Lickables” in a pouch.
Anyway, I thought I was going to lose her kidney disease and would be in no mood for today’s funnies, but here I am! I’m ready and willing and so very relieved to not have lost another of my furbabies! On with the funnies because that’s what you came for, right?!

Ok, I am exhausted, mentally and physically. Time to take a good nap. I hope these funnies aren’t repeats. I forgot to delete last week’s off my phone and laptop so I got a little confused!
