Friday’s Funnies – Theme: Signs – July 28, 2023
The last couple of weeks have been miserable. I lost a furbaby (RIP Honey Bear) and another furbaby (BobCat) caught a URI. I think we brought it back from the vet’s office. It seems like shit has to happen all at once these days. BobCat is feeling better now that he has seen Dr. Missy, who gave him a long-acting antibiotic injection as well as an injection of steroids to reduce the inflammation in his nose. Poor little guy was blowing snot bubbles and sneezing all over the place! Dr. Missy put some ointment in his eyes to lubricate them. He was pretty drippy and yucky. Most of his symptoms have subsided, thankfully. I can’t wait for him to get back to his silly, playful self!
Last Friday, I intended on posting Friday’s Funnies but we had just lost Honey Bear 2 days prior and my heart was broken. I just couldn’t bear to see anything funny as I was not in a laughing mood. I’m sure you’ve all been there. Some people say, “Oh, it was just a cat,” or “It was just a dog.” Nope. Pets are part of the family. I lost a member of my family.
Anyway, onward and upward. Here’s this week’s funnies, theme “Signs” and I just can’t believe some of the signs I have collected! Hilarious! I hope you enjoy the collection!

Well, there you have it. My faves are Danger Ahead and Duck, and the Go Away Go On Git sign reminded me of my mom. When we were kids she would do crafts as Christmas gifts and to keep us out of her craft area she’d hang a sign on the door that said Keep Out This Means You! It always made me laugh.
I hope you enjoyed this collection! Have a super weekend and remember, if the ground is too hot for you to walk barefoot on then it’s too hot for your furbabies! And please don’t leave children, the elderly, or pets in a hot, parked car! It could be deadly.

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week – June 2, 2023
Good Morning and Happy Friday!
I hope this week has been a good one. My week has been exhausting and I’m ready to throw this old laptop out of the window!! I have to grin and bear it until my new one gets here! Maybe then it will be easier for me to sit and write!

Have a super weekend, friends! It’s a bit warmer these days so be sure to stay hydrated! AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE DON’T LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN OR PETS IN YOUR HOT CAR!!! Yes, I was screaming at you! It is unbelievable that anyone could do such a thing but it happens every damn summer! Please. Do something that will remind you. Take off your shoe and put it in the backseat before you drive off. You’ll remember your shoe, won’t you? Lecture over. Sorry. It just makes me so sad when it happens.

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week May 5, 2023
Happy Friday! Today I wish I was at my favorite Mexican restaurant, drinking margaritas and eating my favorite enchiladas. They always have a fun Cinco de Mayo day with games and contests. Dad and I won many prizes one year and we had a blast. These days, we just aren’t up for dealing with crowded restaurants…or crowded anything. That’s the last thing on my list of fun things to do. Haha. Instead, I’ve been sitting here like a bump on a log…my grandmother used to say that…and I was so damn busy doing that that I nearly didn’t have time for today’s funnies!
I won’t bore you to death with meaningless crap. Here is this week’s collection!

Well, I can honestly say I do have a few faves from this batch! I like Accident Insurance Form, Clint Eatswood, and Storytime with Papa Bear the best! Which ones crack your funny bone?

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week – April 28, 2023
I can’t believe it’s Friday again! It’s strange how the week seems to creep along very slowly (for me) and then at the end of the week, it seems to have gone by so quickly. Happy Friday, regardless. I hope you had a great week!
I have a very large group of funnies for you this week! I hope you find them funny or at least slightly amusing. I did, but then again, I have a simple mind (so I’m told from people who lack a sense of humor).

I hope this collection made you laugh! I can’t even begin to pick one favorite (or even two or three) so I don’t expect you can either! I just hope you got a few good laughs!
I can’t believe the month of May is just days away already! This time of year makes me long for a garden. I wish I could plant one like I used to. We planted tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapenos, pickling cucumbers, green beans, snow peas, and zucchini. I preserved many of those things for use throughout the year. I really enjoyed the whole process from planting to preserving. Do you plant a garden?
