Dad found this little guy in the bathroom! Turned out to be a toy that the granddaughter put in there. She got a good laugh when Dad called us in to see what he found. He said, “You’re not going to believe this!” He really thought he had something! Granddaughter is a master prankster!!

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

Friday, Friday….. Here we are again! I hope I’m not repeating funnies I have shared before. It’s hard to remember, so please forgive repeats if there are any!

First a funny joke, kind of a corny one, but funny! Enjoy!

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patty Whack.

“Miss Whack, I’d like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.”

Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it’s okay, he knows the bank manager.

Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.

The frog says, “Sure. I have this,” and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patty explains that she’ll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and says, “There’s a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral.” She holds up the tiny pink elephant. “I mean, what in the world is this?”

(You’re gonna love this.)

The bank manager looks back at her and says, “It’s a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man’s a Rolling Stone.”

(You sang it, didn’t you? Yeah, I know you did.)

Never take life too seriously.

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

Time for Friday’s Funnies! I’ll start out with a little funny-ha-ha from my outing with Dad today! Enjoy!

Dad and I went to Mountain Grove today to buy a new DVD player. Afterward, we stopped at Los Amigos for a quick bite to eat. We’ve been there many times before and the food is really good, but I never noticed a side entrance door. I mentioned it to Dad and he said, “Oh yeah, I’ve seen it before. In fact, I’ve seen real people, not actors, come in that door.” If you don’t watch tv you won’t even get why this is funny! It’s a reference to the stupid auto commercials where they state clearly “these are real people, not actors,” which is just stupid. (Actors aren’t real people?? Lol.) Anyway, Dad never disappoints. Filing this under #ShitMyDadSays!

I hope no one gets their panties in a bunch over that last one. The Facebook page that posted it got some really rude comments. People need to lighten up a bit and stop getting so offended over little things that, when you think about it, really don’t matter at the end of the day. Get some tickle back in that funny bone and have a little laugh. Laughs are free, fun, and make you feel good!

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week

This past few weeks have been overwhelming, with my son getting married. My baby boy, imagine that. I’m too old for this shit. Getting things back on track hasn’t been easy, but Friday’s Funnies are back!

Well, poor Peanut got out of the yard and got chewed up by the neighbor’s dog — I KNOW NOT FUNNY — but Peanut recovered and ever since my BIL insists that this dog is…well…just…BROKEN. Of course, I had to argue. But then, he posted current photos.

I don’t know about you, but I think my BIL might be on to something.

I had an appt. yesterday and my co-pay is .50 whole cents. Dad asked me if I needed quarters. I told him yes and he held his hand out full of quarters. I said, “Oh nice and SHINY quarters!” He said, “Yes, I just made them.” Lol. Filing this under #ShitMyDadSays!
