Well, crap on a cracker, as Penny says.

It’s Friday already. The weeks and years go by so quickly and I just keep getting older. On Wednesday I’ll be another year older, in fact. Yay. Kill me now. Back when my kids were still at home, I told them I was 35 years old for 5 years before one of them asked, “Weren’t you 35 last year?” And then one of them did the math. It was hilarious that I got away with it for so long! So, the running joke every year is, “You’re going to be 35, right, Mom?!” Sure. I’ll take it. Beats the numbers that keep going higher!!

So, have you any faves this week? I think I have to go with Monty Python Horseshoes! Hilarious! That produce guy is my kind of guy! I hope you enjoyed this collection! I think my favorite is Car’s Extended Warranty! What’s yours? The 100% Horseshit meme takes a close 2nd…it’s so life-like and took some talent to be so damn accurate!

I hope your summer isn’t too unbearably hot. I have to say, I am ready for winter already. Yesterday the high was 102 degrees and last night barely dropped below 80 degrees. If only it wasn’t so humid, it would be much more comfortable. Even the a/c can’t keep up. Stay cool, friends!

Have a super weekend and just a reminder: Please do not leave children or pets in hot cars, even with the window cracked! It’s still too damn hot!

Well, here we are, another Friday. I apologize for skipping the last 2 Fridays but it’s been rough. Depression comes and goes and I fight hard to keep it at bay. I can’t let it suck me under because I have to take care of Dad. I take each day as it comes and try to stay focused on what is good in my life.

For at least 4 days of the last 2 weeks, I have been recovering from trying to do a few chores around here. Good grief, I need a live-in. Remember Hazel from the tv sitcom in the 60s? That’s who I need right now. She’d really get things done.

Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week May 5, 2023

Happy Friday! Today I wish I was at my favorite Mexican restaurant, drinking margaritas and eating my favorite enchiladas. They always have a fun Cinco de Mayo day with games and contests. Dad and I won many prizes one year and we had a blast. These days, we just aren’t up for dealing with crowded restaurants…or crowded anything. That’s the last thing on my list of fun things to do. Haha. Instead, I’ve been sitting here like a bump on a log…my grandmother used to say that…and I was so damn busy doing that that I nearly didn’t have time for today’s funnies!

Well, I can honestly say I do have a few faves from this batch! I like Accident Insurance Form, Clint Eatswood, and Storytime with Papa Bear the best! Which ones crack your funny bone?
