Well, here it is, Friday with August a day away. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for Winter. Most of you are probably thinking I’m nuts because Fall is right around the corner! Other than the nights cooling down, it’s still too hot for me in the Fall. At least in the Winter you can wear more clothing and use more blankets. In the summer, you can only take off so much clothing before someone calls the cops. Snort!

What’s the weather like in your neck of the woods? Here, it’s hot and humid. Nearly 100 degrees every day and this week was the first week that it has not cooled down at night. We’re talking 85 degrees and very uncomfortable! The air conditioners and fans are working overtime and I had one fan die on me last night! I hope the 2 air conditioners last the rest of the season!

Friends, it’s getting bad out there again so please wear your mask, social distance, and get vaccinated. I know it’s scary, but we have got to get this virus under control if we are to ever get our lives back to normal again! I’m extremely worried about a very close friend of mine who was just diagnosed with Covid. This shit is hitting too close to home!
