Well, here we are. Friday. I have been AWOL for several weeks. I just have not had the inspiration or motivation to be creative in any way. The last 4+ years have been the most draining and exhausting years of my life! I hope to get back on track now! How are you doing now that we have a new administration? Do you feel less anxious and worried? I sure as hell do. Enough said.

Well clearly the cat party’s hard with quality nip. Then nip beer, and more herb (nip) and then all hell breaks loose. The felines start to play Beastie Boys Intergalactic, lamp shades get put on….and the armadillo shell comes out and BAM, the party gets out of control…lol. Well that was Charlie’s explanation anyway 😼.

Once again you’ve brought tears to my eyes — of laughter! Impressive collection this week! When you started with the seal, I lost it! The teddy bears in the department store…lol. Eyelash Mohawk Parakeet was hysterical. But it was that pressure cooker that gave me a personal laugh; that picture was pretty impressive and shows just how critical the pressure relief valve is. I’ve cooked with the same low-tech Presto for decades and was always amused by those urban legends of kitchen destruction — until one fateful night. The pressure relief valve let go — it was likely overdue for replacement — so it blew out under normal pressure, and the pot transformed into a chicken soup geyser, jetting contents clear to the ceiling. Thankfully that was all that hit the roof. The lid, pot, and stove survived the soggy ordeal without a scratch; I cleaned the ceiling with an upside-down swifter, and my dogs still dream of the night it rained chicken soup all over the kitchen.
These days, I replace that valve frequently, whether it needs it or not.

The cat at the tub faucet is so like a cat I have! You could do animal themes (all dog, all cat, etc) or babies, or kids, repair fails. The possibilities are endless. 😄
