Friday’s Funnies – My Faves This Week – Cat Edition
Good Morning. I hope all is well with you, my friends and readers! It’s been a cold week for me. It dropped to 5 degrees last night and was barely 10 degrees at 7am. This old house is cold, regardless of how many heaters we have running. I’m chilled to the bone, which is why I’ll be making a pot of Un-Stuffed Bell Pepper Soup for lunch. Oh, and in case you’re wondering about my pain meds (last post), I have received them and I’m doing much better!
I’ve had quite a few cat funnies cross my screens this past week and I realized that I’ve never done a cat-themed funnies post. I don’t know why. I’m truly a cat person and I’ve had many over the years. They provide such wonderfully hilarious entertainment at times, even when they’re being a pain in the ass. This post is cat-themed to entice your funny bone!

Throwback Thursday
In 2017, my Smokie was still with us. She lived to be 15.5 years old. She had a rough life after being hit by a car or kicked by a cow (not really sure what happened to her) when she was only about 2 years old. She was mostly blind after that accident. Her sniffer still worked, though!
Here she is waiting for a bite of my lunch. She knew I was eating chicken!

Caturday – Is Your Cat A Weirdo?
If you’re a cat owner, then you know that cats have their own distinctive personalities. They are all absolutely different; with their own quirks and mannerisms, much like children. I’ve had some odd cats in my life and I’m sure you have, too!
One cat I had years ago, played fetch. Not because I taught him but because he was bored! I was trying to write a letter and kept making mistakes, so I’d crumble up the paper and toss it on the floor. My cat, Spike, brought the paper to me and dropped it in my lap. Not thinking much about it, I tossed the paper away. He brought it back. After a few times, I realized what he was doing! It became one of our favorite playtime activities! Yes, this is the cat my novel, “Spike” was written about! I have yet to finish that story, but I digress!
I had another cat, Fuzz, who came when I called, “Chick, chick, chick, CHICKEN!” It was his cue that it was time to eat.
Another cat, Korn, was a barker. I mean, literally HE BARKED like a dog! Korn came when I whistled a loud, steady whistle. I swear he was a dog in his previous life.
