This week started out decent but then Tuesday one of my furbabies was sickly. It just happened. One day she was eating like a pig and the next day, she wasn’t eating much at all. She had lost some weight, and wasn’t eating, drinking, or urinating much. My first thought was her kidneys. I have already lost several cats to kidney disease and I wasn’t prepared to have to put down another of my loves. I knew I would have to do it because I wouldn’t ever want any of them to suffer…
Our wonderful vet had no appointments open this morning but agreed that if I get there at 9am sharp then they could squeeze us in between the others. A complete blood count was done, and after what seemed an eternity, he came back with the results. Her kidneys were fine. Her liver was fine. Her white blood count was high, which he said normally means an infection…frequently it’s a UTI. So he gave her IV fluids and a long-lasting antibiotic injection, plus a steroid injection. We are home now and she already looks better and has eaten some of her favorite “Lickables” in a pouch.
Anyway, I thought I was going to lose her kidney disease and would be in no mood for today’s funnies, but here I am! I’m ready and willing and so very relieved to not have lost another of my furbabies! On with the funnies because that’s what you came for, right?!

Ok, I am exhausted, mentally and physically. Time to take a good nap. I hope these funnies aren’t repeats. I forgot to delete last week’s off my phone and laptop so I got a little confused! I hope you get a few laughs from this week’s collection! My faves are Shocked Miss Piggy, Samuel L., Vacuum Sealed, and Stoned Hunter.

HA! I’m going to go with the Where’s Waldo gravestone, lol. I’m so sorry about the scare you had with one of your fur babies, it’s never easy going when it comes to them and whether it may or may not be something serious. Well I have a new fur baby myself, I didn’t intend to have another but Charlie brought home a little brother about three weeks ago, he’s a young orange and white tabby and he’s as lovable as can be. I think Charlie regrets bringing him home, because now he’s all butt hurt because we pay attention to him. Not any more or any less than we pay attention to Charlie but he’s not a bit jelly, lol. His name is Wayne Tiberius Kirk, no not James T. Kirk but Wayne, lol.

😂🤪 No more fur babies for me. It’s too painful to lose them and I am exhausted just from the scare. Honey is doing much better, thank goodness. Tell Charlie to suck it up. He shouldn’t have adopted a baby brother if he was going to be a wuss about it. Lol. Hopefully they won’t fight when the little one gets older. Jack still gets his furry pants in a knot sometimes and starts a fight with BobCat. Little turds. Love the name you chose, btw. 💜

I didn’t plan on another fur baby, it’s a full time job just with fat Charlie, lol. But one day he was outside and came home with Wayne in tow, right through the door, past me and plopped himself down on the dining room tile. He’s been here ever since, and now Charlie is getting his furry pant in a knot (like Jack) and just hisses at Wayne. But Wayne is so gentle and loving I can’t bare to just leave him outside again. Tell Jack to stop being such a bully to BobCat, he knows better, lol. My son named him, both Charlie and Wayne have full names. Charlie is Charles Bruiser O’Houlihan and now Wayne Tiberius Kirk 🤣.

I love the Family Feud one! You know if that was real Steve Harvey would have had quite the time with that. Miss Piggy is pretty hilarious too. Keep giving that furbaby lots of love, she is lucky to have you as a momma!

Yeah, Steve Harvey would have walked off the set if that was real! But I thought it was hilarious…mostly because Samuel L. is my kindred spirit. Lol.
