MAGA folks, I hope you’re happy.

I hope you’re happy when your Social Security is cut or when your kids don’t get to eat lunch at school. I hope you ugly cry when your Medicaid or SNAP is cut. I hope you freakin’ truly begin to understand what you have done.

You have elected a narcissistic ignoramus to run this country. He has put an immigrant billionaire in charge of cutting waste – waste in their eyes, that is. They aren’t investigating and presenting proof of waste or fraud. They’re just cutting. They’re firing folks who help keep us safe, like air traffic controllers and the nuclear security folks. The latter were unfired but our country is still at risk. Every single act of firing and cutting weakens our country. I hope you’re ready for everything you’re going to lose.

The only immigrant I see taking your jobs away is Elmo Musk. Those migrant workers who are being deported were doing the jobs that YOU are too proud to take. I guess you’re ready to go out and pick your own fruits and vegetables for less than minimum wage.

Speaking of immigrants… Elmo Musk is an immigrant. Let’s deport his ass, too. Oh, wait. He’s not brown-skinned, is he?

I hope you will finally understand that your tax dollars are being wasted by this numbskull of a president. Yes, wasted. Remember the Super Bowl? It cost $15+ million to attend and he didn’t even stick around until the end. What about his trips to Maggot-lago that we pay for? What about his Daytona 500 appearances? Anytime he uses Air Force One, it is on us! All the money he has wasted boosting his own ego and trying to make us think he’s the best thing since sliced bread – that’s all GOVERNMENT WASTE but he wants to cut the things that help the people in this country.

I hope you realize your grocery and gas prices have not decreased. I hope you’ll still be able to get the medications you need. Many people aren’t that lucky. The prices of their life-saving or life-preserving medications have been so drastically raised, they aren’t able to afford them anymore. Think of your grandparents not being able to maintain their health now without the medications they need.

By the way, your narcissistic moron of a president thinks the war between Russia and Ukraine was started by Ukraine! What the literal fuck! Russia invaded Ukraine and the people of Ukraine are defending themselves! Did you notice that the “talks” to end the war didn’t even include Zelensky? Give me a freakin’ break. Who does that? Shitler is sucking up to Putin. He wants to be just like him. Open your damn eyes!!

I hope you’re sitting there with your red hat wondering what the hell you did. But I think more realistically that you’re proud of yourself. You may not have been affected yet by Shitler and Elmo’s actions. They’ll get you eventually.

The whole world is laughing at us. Every day we’re a little weaker in the eyes of the rest of the world. I hope you’re happy. I hope you’re ready for what happens.

So much to say, so little time. I just hope you’re happy with your vote, dumbass.

This may not be a popular post but I don’t care. If you don’t like what I say then kindly unfollow my blog. It seems that Trump supporters can say anything they want but God forbid if anyone else has a different opinion.

I cannot believe anyone would think that pardoning the Jan. 6 criminals is okay. I know why Mein Führer pardoned them. We all know why he pardoned them. But why would any other American citizen think it’s OK? Seriously.

They broke the law. When they stormed the Capitol that day, they disrespected those who worked there in the past, present, and future. They disrespected the police who tried to stop the escalation of violence and protect the Capitol. They disrespected this country. They disrespected our Founding Fathers. They disrespected the voting process. Their attack on the Capitol was an attack on the United States of America. It was a violent attack that led to death and serious injury. 5 Law Enforcement Officers lost their lives and there were over 140 injuries as a result of that day. Let’s not forget about the woman who was fatally shot by police as she tried to climb through a barricaded window of the building. She shouldn’t have been there in the first place but she shouldn’t have died. This all happened because Trump told them to come…and they came.

We are in for a long and unlawful 4 years of Trump’s wrath on the US Constitution, women, people of color, transgender individuals, and basically life as we know it. He will continue to get away with everything he wants to do. He doesn’t care about any of us. All he cares about is money and power. He will always look out for those with money. Always. Of those who can stop him, none of them will. They don’t have the balls to stand up to him. Why? Does Trump have something on them or do they just support him because they think Trump will help their political ambitions? 

If you voted for Trump, it will eventually fall on you. It will cost you more to take care of your family. It will cost you more for medical care. It will all eventually affect you. Trump isn’t going to look out for you. He doesn’t care about you. You’ll see. He will lead you to your own demise.

What’s Eating Aunt Debbie?

I’ve eaten at 3 different Mexican restaurants in the past month or so. Only one of them was worth going to again. I’ve eaten a lot of Mexican food over the years and no, I’ve never been to Mexico or Texas, but holy crap. When the refried beans don’t taste like beans, the enchilada sauce is like tomato sauce, and the rice tastes dirty, I won’t eat there again. I can let go of the fact that the salsa may have way too much cilantro or the tortilla chips weren’t perfect. I know that restaurants have bad days. I know there are different regions of Mexico so each restaurant may have different recipes… Maybe I’ve become too picky or my palate has just been spoiled over the many years of eating at a Tex-Mex place that has closed down. All I know is that I know what tastes good to me…

Looking after Dad has been especially difficult this past month. He’s been forgetful more than usual. His gait is unsteady. He has fallen twice. His blood pressure goes high mid-day even though he takes his meds. He sleeps in his chair off and on all day long. He’s not sleeping well at night. He sleeps some but it’s not restful sleep. I worry. I stress a lot.

I don’t know about you, but I’m sick and tired and frankly pissed off to no end, of this political shitstorm! Trump is an asshole, plain and simple. Every single person he has in his entourage is an asshole. You have to be an asshole to follow an asshole. He has no morals. He wants what he wants. He is the biggest narcissist this world has ever seen. He wants to change our government to the way he wants it to be. He wants to destroy everything we have and everything we know. I could write all day about Trump and still not cover everything…

Our washing machine is being stupid. It washes fine. No problems with a load being clean. The problem is that it doesn’t just beep (a tune) when a load is finished. It decides in the middle of the night to beep off and on as if there’s an unfinished load in the machine. It needs to be serviced before I beat it to death with a baseball bat!

Well, that’s what’s eating me today. Not sure about the rest of the week. Haha. Have a great day, friends.

He Who Has Spoken…and Spoken…and Spoken…and Spoken…

“When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time,” often attributed to Maya Angelou, meaning that when someone reveals their true nature or character, trust that this is who they really are and don’t try to ignore or excuse their behavior.

So, why are there not enough people listening to what Donald Trump is telling us?

Think about this for a minute. Donald Trump has told us exactly what he plans to do if he wins this election.

He said that this would be the last election if he wins. What the hell does that mean? Is he going to do away with elections in this country? Will we never be able to vote again? That’s concerning, isn’t it?

He said he will jail his political opponents. He said he’s going to revoke the broadcast licenses of media outlets that oppose him. So, will he also jail anyone who opposes him?

He wants to reimpose his travel ban to keep people from Muslim countries from entering the US. This would ban “dangerous lunatics, haters, bigots, and maniacs” and that’s hilarious, considering it’s a pretty accurate description of Trump, himself!

He will end transgender rights. He wants to cut funding to hospitals and health care providers to prevent care for those transgender people. Surely everyone in this country has a family member or knows someone or knows of someone who is transgender. So, imagine someone you care about losing their rights to gender-affirming surgery, treatment, or therapies.

He wants to terminate the Department of Education. He says under his administration, kids will be taught to love their country and not to hate it as they are being taught now. On the surface, that sounds nice, doesn’t it? It sounds to me like he wants to dictate what is being taught. Which is hilarious, considering he doesn’t know a damn thing about anything! Until he submits his school grades, I will stick to my opinion of him, which is that he doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground! In a game of “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader,” he would freakin’ lose his ass.

He says police should be empowered to shoot suspected shoplifters in the act. Keyword: suspected. Whatever happened to “innocent until proven guilty”?

He is fixated on those he believes have wronged him. He wants to use the military against people he claims are the “enemy within;” The Department of Justice, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, journalists, CBS News, and the list goes on. Do you honestly think he will stop there? What makes you think that he won’t eventually go after YOU? Eventually, power will go to his head, (even more than it is already) and he will come after those of us who have something to say about him, against him, or about something he has done.

When will we stop and realize, actually understand, what he is telling us? He’s definitely not a good person. Why would you vote for someone who has demonstrated time and time again that they are not a good person?

Anyone who calls certain countries “shithole countries” is not a good person.

Anyone who calls this country “the garbage can for the world” is not a good person.

Someone who tells us and shows us repeatedly what they think about poor people, people of color, women, science, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, etc., is not a good person.

Someone who calls people names, harasses and intimidates people is not a good person.

Someone who lies about everything is not a good person.

Why would you vote for someone who is not a good person?

I think, and this is my speculation, that half if not more of those who are supporting Trump, will do so for one or more of the following reasons:

  1. They do not want a woman to be President,
  2. They do not a person of color to be President, or
  3.  They do not want a Democrat to be President.

I say, COUNTRY over party for crying out loud. At least Kamala Harris is trying to unite us and is working for all of us. We may not agree with everything she says, but she is a much better choice than Donald Trump could ever be!

We will be in deep shit if Trump is elected again. Dictatorship. Plain and simple. Mark my words.

Just A Thought…

I know not everyone is on social media. I am on Facebook only because I want to keep in touch with my family and friends. (Isn’t that what Facebook was meant for anyway?)  I have a page set up for this blog as well, but I’m not too active on it. Anyway, Facebook has become the breeding zone for stupidity, rude-ass behavior, and misinformation.

The thing I’ve been seeing a lot of lately – actually since 2016 – are political posts. Sometimes, I check out the comments and it blows my mind how rude and ridiculous people can be. I can’t help but debate with myself about dropping off of Facebook for good…but then…family and friends…

Most of the comments are either from folks who agree or folks who fact-check everything – which is absolutely fine, as long as you don’t get your info from Fox News. Remember how they were sued for almost $800 million for outright lying to the viewers? Anyway, fact-check all you want but here’s a thought…

Make sure you fact-check your own posts before you add to the misinformation and stupidity out there!
