This may not be a popular post but I don’t care. If you don’t like what I say then kindly unfollow my blog. It seems that Trump supporters can say anything they want but God forbid if anyone else has a different opinion.

I cannot believe anyone would think that pardoning the Jan. 6 criminals is okay. I know why Mein Führer pardoned them. We all know why he pardoned them. But why would any other American citizen think it’s OK? Seriously.

They broke the law. When they stormed the Capitol that day, they disrespected those who worked there in the past, present, and future. They disrespected the police who tried to stop the escalation of violence and protect the Capitol. They disrespected this country. They disrespected our Founding Fathers. They disrespected the voting process. Their attack on the Capitol was an attack on the United States of America. It was a violent attack that led to death and serious injury. 5 Law Enforcement Officers lost their lives and there were over 140 injuries as a result of that day. Let’s not forget about the woman who was fatally shot by police as she tried to climb through a barricaded window of the building. She shouldn’t have been there in the first place but she shouldn’t have died. This all happened because Trump told them to come…and they came.

We are in for a long and unlawful 4 years of Trump’s wrath on the US Constitution, women, people of color, transgender individuals, and basically life as we know it. He will continue to get away with everything he wants to do. He doesn’t care about any of us. All he cares about is money and power. He will always look out for those with money. Always. Of those who can stop him, none of them will. They don’t have the balls to stand up to him. Why? Does Trump have something on them or do they just support him because they think Trump will help their political ambitions? 

If you voted for Trump, it will eventually fall on you. It will cost you more to take care of your family. It will cost you more for medical care. It will all eventually affect you. Trump isn’t going to look out for you. He doesn’t care about you. You’ll see. He will lead you to your own demise.

Opinions: Not Right, Not Wrong

I don’t voice my opinion often, but when I do, I think I deserve the same respect that others expect when they voice their opinion. What I normally get is barked at by those who don’t agree, or disrespected in some other form….including confrontational private messages! Do you know what I do when I don’t like someone’s opinion? I just keep scrolling!!!! I don’t argue and bark at them as though they’re wrong or stupid for having an independent thought. I accept that others will have a different opinion, and discussion is always welcomed but have some damn respect!

Learn to be open-minded

I don’t know what it is about opinions that people don’t understand. Opinions are neither right nor wrong. Opinions are views or judgments formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. They are based on a person’s perception or experience of a situation. My opinions are normally formed after I consider both sides of the matter. This is something I think many people neglect to do. They just “thump their chest” as if to say, “What I say matters!” Well, so does mine. Everyone has the right to form an opinion, and to not be disrespected, even if views are different. I use to tell my kids as they were growing up, “If you want to be respected for your opinion, then you must first respect the opinions of others.” It’s just that simple.
