“Kitty” is her name, yes. She’s 12 years old this month! She’s not feeling well so she has to go to the vet tomorrow for an overnight stay. She’s never been away from home like this so I’m sure she’ll be scared. I’ll worry about her all night long, but it can’t be helped.
This morning I noticed a little blood and mucus in her stool so she’s going to have some blood work done, and be given a couple meds as the first round of treatment. Hopefully, that’ll be the end of it and she can come home with a clean bill of health. I’m praying for the best but preparing for the worst. I’ve lost 2 elderly cats since Feb. 2017, and Kitty is no spring chicken. Losing my furbabies is hard as hell.
I may be taking some time off of my blog and social media to take care of Kitty and tend to other things. There’s a lot going on this month. Details later! I’m feeling the stress already and by month’s end, I’ll be in a straight jacket! Hahaha!
I’m so sorry to hear about your Kitty. I am wishing her the very best and you, too!

Thanks! Kitty seems to feel better this morning but she’s still going to the vet. She’s not going to be a happy camper. ❤

She’s doing well and happy as heck to be home. Poor thing had a nightmare last night. Trauma from spending the night at the vet’s office. Her blood work didn’t show anything alarming except that she is pre-diabetic so she’s on a diet…as are the others. Lol.

How is she doing today? We can’t have sick kitties, that just won’t do!

Kitty is doing well, thank you for asking….but now Alice is sick. I tried to get her an appt this morning with our primary vet and they are booked solid until Friday. Our secondary vet is booked until Saturday. I had to call a place I have never been to and could get in any earlier than tomorrow. Poor Alice is very sick. I keep telling her, “hang on, baby girl!” ❤

Is Alice also a kitty? Maybe you have an emergency vet clinic near you? Here in Maine there are only two but if you need a vet quickly then the vet ER is the place to go.

I live in a very rural area. We’re lucky we have vets that care for animals other than livestock. Lol. I don’t know of any ER vets here. The place I took Alice was great! I was very impressed by them! Yes, Alice is a kitty, too. She’s doing much better already. Upper respiratory in her sinuses, not her lungs. Thanks for asking about her! ❤
