This may not be a popular post but I don’t care. If you don’t like what I say then kindly unfollow my blog. It seems that Trump supporters can say anything they want but God forbid if anyone else has a different opinion.

I cannot believe anyone would think that pardoning the Jan. 6 criminals is okay. I know why Mein Führer pardoned them. We all know why he pardoned them. But why would any other American citizen think it’s OK? Seriously.

They broke the law. When they stormed the Capitol that day, they disrespected those who worked there in the past, present, and future. They disrespected the police who tried to stop the escalation of violence and protect the Capitol. They disrespected this country. They disrespected our Founding Fathers. They disrespected the voting process. Their attack on the Capitol was an attack on the United States of America. It was a violent attack that led to death and serious injury. 5 Law Enforcement Officers lost their lives and there were over 140 injuries as a result of that day. Let’s not forget about the woman who was fatally shot by police as she tried to climb through a barricaded window of the building. She shouldn’t have been there in the first place but she shouldn’t have died. This all happened because Trump told them to come…and they came.

We are in for a long and unlawful 4 years of Trump’s wrath on the US Constitution, women, people of color, transgender individuals, and basically life as we know it. He will continue to get away with everything he wants to do. He doesn’t care about any of us. All he cares about is money and power. He will always look out for those with money. Always. Of those who can stop him, none of them will. They don’t have the balls to stand up to him. Why? Does Trump have something on them or do they just support him because they think Trump will help their political ambitions? 

If you voted for Trump, it will eventually fall on you. It will cost you more to take care of your family. It will cost you more for medical care. It will all eventually affect you. Trump isn’t going to look out for you. He doesn’t care about you. You’ll see. He will lead you to your own demise.

I Hate Guns

My son wears a t-shirt that says “Guns Don’t Kill People. People With Mustaches Kill People.”

I think this statement is half right. The other half is just plain silly. But it makes me stop and think about how much I hate firearms.

Guns don’t kill people. People kill people.

Personally, I wish guns weren’t so easy for people to get their hands on. It’s far too easy to jump the gun, pardon the pun, and accidentally shoot your wife (sister, brother, daughter, son, or best friend) because you thought he/she was an intruder. There are so, so many people in this day and age with mental disorders and anger issues. You really have to be careful who you piss off! You could be facing some nut-case with a gun whom you accidentally bumped into at the grocery store. Or perhaps someone who was late for work got fired because you were driving too slow in front of them. Well, you get the picture.

I hate that people find it necessary to have guns in their homes, especially when there are children also in the home. I am afraid to look up statistics on how many young children have been injured or killed where a gun was in the home. Not to mention, teens and preteens who think it’s cool or funny to show off Dad’s gun to a friend, only to learn that it was loaded. I hear people say “as long as you have respect for the gun…..” That’s not even close to being true! It can happen, even if you have the utmost respect for your gun. Accidents can and do happen. Every day. Everyone wants to think “it won’t happen to me or my family” but it can. Let’s not forget about Columbine High School. Why was it so easy for 2 teenage boys to get their hands on firearms?

I hate guns. Period. I wish this world was a more peaceful place to live; where we all could get along without violence and without guns.
