I’ve been watching old shows at night. Mostly it’s been shows I grew up watching. It’s relaxing and I get a kick out of them. Plus, and I mean it IS a plus, I can crochet and “watch” at the same time because I really don’t have to look intently at the screen. I know the characters and their voices so really, I don’t have to actively watch – just listen.
Anyway, for the past few nights I’ve been watching The Partridge Family. Yes, sue me. I loved it as a kid and I still think it’s a cute show. And Keith, damn he was a cutie. R.I.P. David Cassidy. I used to think they were all singing and playing instruments, ah the mind of a kid. This morning I woke up with this song stuck in my head and I can’t shake it. I don’t really care if I shake it or not, honestly.

Oh man! I LOVE the Partridge Family, I watch the reruns over and over. Mainly because of David Cassidy though (of course I do.) And as a kid preferred it much more to the Brady Bunch.

OMGosh. Yes. I’d choose the Partridge Family over the Brady Bunch any day! I have the complete series on dvd. 😜 Every once in a while I pop it in and sing along, which isn’t a good sound. Lol.

I had a David Cassidy poster, along with posters of Davy Jones, Donny Osmond (yes, I liked him), Michael Parks, and Bobby Sherman on my bedroom wall as a kid.

Who is Michael Parks? Sorry, but the name is not familiar to me. I also loved Davy, and Donny. I had posters of them all, too. No Bobby Sherman though. Cute but he just didn’t do it for me. Lol.

Michael Parks’s character rode a motorcycle from town to town in a show called Then Came Bronson. It only lasted one season, from 9/1969 to 4/1970. The network (NBC) did have a TV film pilot of it in 3/1969.

I just looked him up. He looks familiar, like I’ve seen him before, but nothing specific comes to mind. I probably never watched that show.
