Thank you to https://ortensia72.com for nominating me for this award! Please be sure to check out her blog!

Rules:

If you want to share this award please follow the rules below.

Thank the nominator, and publish a post on your blog about receiving the Blogger Recognition Award.  Make sure to provide a link to the nominator’s blog in your post.

• Give a brief story of how your blog started.

• Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.

• Nominate 10-15 other bloggers for this award, and inform them of their nomination.

My blog started in 2008 when I had become a grandmother for the first time! I wanted an outlet, for therapeutic purposes more than anything else. A lot happened in that first several years that I needed to get off my chest. I didn’t share my blog with anyone, I just wrote. A few years ago, I started to share and to interact with other bloggers, and I gained a few followers. I’ve made some great friends here!

My advice to new bloggers would be 1) Write what you know and 2) Don’t forget to interact with other bloggers!

  1. Those were 2 really great pieces of advice. Too many Bloggers forget the importance of following others and interacting with them. They want people reading, commenting and liking their stuff yet they fail to do the same for others. Reciprocity is so important.

Thanks for the nomination, Debbie. 💜 This one I did already so in the effort of not repea myself may I forego doing it and just provide the link to my original response here?
