Guess What?

I’ve been MIA for awhile now. I’d like to say I’ve spent the last few months consistently working on the cookbook but that would be a lie. I get tired of looking at it and so I stop working on it. I haven’t worked on it in weeks. Shame on me. But this morning, I decided to give it a look over and then order a copy to see what it looks like. With a tangible product in my hands, I can then make any changes and corrections necessary without the eye strain. (At least until I go to make the changes online.) It’ll be a couple of weeks before I get the book and then (knowing me) it will take some time to fix any errors. But soon after that I’ll be taking orders!

I hope you will keep in mind that this cookbook is just a recipe compilation. There are no photos. This is a no frill recipe collection. I hope you will like at least some of the recipes!

Will keep you posted! Thank you all for following my blog and being patient with me!

  1. I don’t need pictures in recipe books. I’ll be waiting to hear when you’ve given the go-ahead to have it ready for the public to purchase. 🙂

  2. Hey there my friend, I hope that your doing well and weathering what ever has come your way. I know times seem like they are getting harder. God knows I feel like that, I’ve felt like that for a while now. It didn’t help that on Tuesday it rained like a mother and the tarps we had put on the roof didn’t hold like I thought. Water was all over the damned place in my son’s room, ugh. But, I am looking forward to your cookbook! I can’t wait, but I also know that when your working on something like that, looking at it day in and day out you just want to walk away from it for a bit. But don’t give up my friend, it’s a great accomplishment! I have so many manuscripts I’ve started but have never finished, I get bored or change my idea and abandon them. So don’t give up on this cookbook! Sending hugs to you, dad and the entire pack!!

    • We are all ok. Still kicking, that is. I hope you are doing well. I’m glad to see this cookbook coming to an end. It was one of the things I needed to finish before I no longer can. It’s true about getting tired of looking at the same thing day after day. or ideas changing. I hope you will be able to finsih what you have started, too!

I’m so sorry to hear that you are still having issues with your roof! I understand completely about the horror of it all. We have tarps up too. My son put them up because he knows his Grampa can’t do it BUT when they need to be replaced, I have no idea who to get to do it for us. My son has pretty much forgotten about us. I haven’t heard from him in months. Anyway, I hope you get the leaks fixed before mold sets in.

Hugs and skritches to you and yours! ❤
