I love to crochet! It’s about the only thing I can do these days, as my chronic pain and mobility issues are a real hindrance.
My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was just 8 years old. I’ve been crocheting ever since! My favorite things to make are baby blankets, but I love larger blankets, too. I also love to make ponchos and shawls!
Prices vary so if you’re interested in something, feel free to contact me. I can sometimes be persuaded to accept payments but a non-refundable deposit or payment in full is required before I start any piece.
Most people scoff at the higher priced items but they don’t realize the work involved. Consider the designing and the skill needed to create the item. Sometimes I have to create the pattern myself and sometimes I have to search for the right pattern, which I usually have to pay for. Yarn is expensive these days, too. Some brands of yarn I use are between $5.00 and $10.00 per skein! It can take anywhere from 6 to 8 skeins for a baby blanket and 20 or more skeins for an afghan!
Need prices? Sizes? Other info? Please contact me using the contact form here. View the slideshow below for a few items I have made in the past. I admit, some of my photos are not that great but that’s all about the camera I was using at the time and/or the lighting in my house!)
Thanks for looking!

Love the afghan, Deb. I’m sure it felt great to finally finish it. 😀

Thanks! And yes!! I’ve started on two more afghans (different designs) in case I get sick of looking at one I can work on the other!

Thank you! And I’d love to make you one! I’ve made several but can’t find all of my photos! I’ve been a disaster this past couple of years. Lol. The only things I seem to be able to do competently is crochet and drive!

We have to properly talk about business here then😀

Shoot me an email and tell me about what you’re looking for… colors, size, etc. Ponchos like the one you commented on are about $40 plus shipping and they come with or without the cowl neck. 😉

Same. Although I like to blame it on the apparatus and say: “I wish I had a better camera.”
